And   all things,   whatsoever  ye shall ask   in   prayer,  believing,  ye shall receive. Mat 21:22

Recently, I have been listening a lot to Rick Renner, one of my mentors. He is very knowledgeable in the original Greek text of the Bible and has a thriving ministry in Russia. Check him out at here [external site]. He has got a great book as well, "Sparkling Gems from the Greek" (available here [external site]). Some of the things he talks about are so deep and revealing and these undoubtedly, have come about by in-depth study and revelation from the Holy Spirit.

I decided to do some in-depth study myself as I read from the above verse. I spent at least 2 hours studying just this one verse and came up with the following.

ALL THINGS - (Greek) pas
Everything, thoroughly, all, any, every, the whole.

WHATSOEVER - (Greek) hosos.
As great as, as far as, how much, how many, whoever

ASK - (Greek) aiteo.
Call for, Crave, Require, Request, Demand, Petition or Expect as due by covenant promise. It means to ask or demand of one in authority because the one made a promise based on requirements, and now the requirements have been met so the one is now to give the desired promise. It also includes an intensity or focus in your desire to see the request fulfilled.

IN PRAYER - (Greek) proseuchē
From "pros" (near, towards, motion towards, accession to, or nearness at) and "euchomai" (wish, will). To pray to God, that is, supplicate, worship, make prayer, earnestly, effectually, intensely; communion with God in your secret place.

Therefore, It means to draw near and ascend to God (with holy and clean hands and hearts, etc, Psalm 15, Psalm 24, 1 Tim 2:8) and make your wish or will known Him.

BELIEVING - (Greek) pisteuō
To be persuaded, give credence to the truthfulness of someone, especially reliance upon Christ for salvation; constancy in such profession; assurance, faith, fidelity; to have faith (in, upon, or with respect to, a person or thing), that is, credit; by implication to entrust well being to Christ.

RECEIVE - (Greek) lambanō
To take with the hand; to lay hold of in order to use it; to take what is one’s own, to claim, procure, for one’s self, of that which when taken is not let go; to seize, to take possession of, to appropriate to one’s self, strive to obtain, take a thing due, to collect, gather, to receive what is offered.

BRINGING IT ALL TOGETHER - A PRAYER
Father, thank You for revelational knowledge into Your Word. And so I declare that "All things, in their entirety, whatever they may be, no matter how great or how many or how far or how much they are, if I ascend unto Your throne room and draw near to You in worship and reverence and I earnestly make my request and petition You and demand and expect them as due to me by virtue of the new covenant promises sealed by the blood of Jesus, the finished work of Christ on the cross, and I trust You and I am fully persuaded and assured of Your truthfulness and faithfulness to Your Word and Love, and I am constant in this profession, then I will lay hold of them and take possession of them as due to me. Amen.

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not. (Jeremiah 33:3 KJV)

I decided to look up the meanings of some of the keywords in the verse above and found the following.

Cry out for help, cry out aloud, Invite, summon, encounter, meet with.

ANSWER - ânâh (Hebrew)
Respond, utter tunefully, testify, speak

SHOW - nâgad (Hebrew)

GREAT - gâdôl (Hebrew)
Great in any sense. Important things, things that distinguishes, things that are large in magnitude, extent, number, and intensity. Things that make to promote, grow up and make powerful and make noble

MIGHTY - bâtsar (Hebrew)
Hidden, things that are inaccessible (to the human senses), enclosed, secrets, mysteries, things that have been withheld, fenced in, kept fortified.

KNOW - yâda (Hebrew)
Know by experience, discern, recognise, to know how, be acquainted with, perceive, see, be instructed in, consider, be skilful in, Have knowledge and understanding

BRINGING IT ALL TOGETHER - A PRAYER
Father, thank you for the entrance of Your Word which has brought us light. And so, Father, as we cry out to You and invite You into our lives, cause us to meet with You and have an encounter with You. According to Your Word respond to our cry and speak and utter tunefully to us. Explain, make clear and reveal to us important things of magnitude, extent and intensity that will promote us and make us distinguished. Expose and declare to us hidden things, things that the human senses cannot access, which have remained mysteries for ages, but by Your Spirit, You make known to us. Cause us to perceive and see and become acquainted with these things and have knowledge and understanding of them and become extremely skilful in them, so that we will have answers to the questions of our generation. Thank You, Lord, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

14th January 2014 - LIGHT, SWEEP, LOOK
Download

Or what woman, having ten [silver] drachmas [each one equal to a day's wages], if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and look carefully and diligently until she finds it? (Luke 15:8 AMP)

This woman does three things: LIGHTS THE LAMP, SWEEPS THE HOUSE AND LOOKS CAREFULLY AND DILIGENTLY until she found what she had lost.

I understand that in the Middle Eastern countries women use coins as ornaments worn on the neck or head and therefore losing one coin was a big deal because without it the ornament was incomplete. The coin also represents a day's wage and if we are to ask The Lord for our daily bread then indeed losing the coin was a big deal. You may have lost something in your life that makes your life complete or beautifies your life. You may also be experiencing daily losses in your life financially, socially, emotionally, maritally or in a harmful habit or sin that so easily besets you and you keep falling. You must do the same three things the woman did.

LIGHT THE LAMP
Find your Bible, the Manufacturer's manual. It has the answers. It is the lamp unto your feet and light to your path (Psalm 119:105; Proverbs 6:23). Study the Word. You must also be sensitive to the Holy Spirit who lives within you, if you are born-again and have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. If you haven't, ask The Lord to be Saviour and Lord of your life. You must have a consciousness of the Holy Spirit (Psalm 18:28; Proverbs 20:27) and tune in to Him and tune out the world.

SWEEP THE HOUSE
Look in your life and see if there are any habits that are affecting your relationship with God and indeed may be blocking the Blessing and Joy channels. If you have sin in your live, The Lord will not hear you and you miss the mighty hand of God in your life (Isaiah 59:2; Psalm 66:18). Allow the Holy Spirit and the Word to search your life and reveal hidden faults and repent of them (Psalm 51; Ephesians 5:26; 2 Tim 3:16; Psalm 139:23 - 24).

LOOK CAREFULLY AND DILIGENTLY
Be diligent in this search and waiting on The Lord. Be wholly committed and totally focused. Don't be distracted. Make time to seek the face of God. John 15:5 says I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing (AMP). We can do nothing of significance in the eyes of The Lord without Him. Search carefully and meditate on the Word until the written Word becomes the Living and Speaking Word, Rhema, in your life (Joshua 1:8; Jeremiah 15:16; James 1:25; Proverbs 2:1 - 5).

Prayer
Thank You, Lord, for Your Word which is a light and lamp to me. I ask for the grace to be a doer of the Word; to Turn on the light, sweep my life and be diligent in my search for treasure in Your Word. Thank You, Lord, that You are restoring every lost glory and You are decorating my life. I am set for NEW DIMENSIONS in You and in my life. I ask this in Jesus' Name, Amen!

9th January 2014 - THE GREATER ONE LIVES WITHIN YOU.

Haggai 2:5 AMP: According to the promise that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit stands and abides in the midst of you; fear not. (Emphasis mine).

The builders of the temple were faced with an impossible project that looked insignificant compared to the old temple and was taking too long to complete. And Haggai the prophet gave them the encouraging Word from The Lord.

God has great plans for your life. If you are faced with any decision, project or plan that seems impossible to achieve by yourself, then you need help. And the good news is that you have a resident and ever present help in the Holy Spirit who lives in you. So do not be afraid! Remember that ALL things are possible WITH God (Matt 19:26; Luke 18:27; Mark 10:27; Luke 1:37). The key phrase is: "WITH GOD". It may seem impossible by and with your own strength and ability, but WITH GOD you can achieve great things. So tap into the Zoe life, the ability of God and achieve more. Indeed, it is not by your might or power, but by the Spirit of God (Zechariah 4:6 - in relation to the same temple project). He who lives in you is greater (1 John 4:4).

* Prayer

Father, thank You for Your Spirit Who stands by me and abides with and within me. I will therefore not be afraid! I will ALWAYS have a consciousness of Your Holy Spirit's presence in my life, GUIDING me, TEACHING me, REMINDING me and SHOWING me things to come. I have an excellent Spirit. I ask this in Jesus' Name, amen.
